Boston Bruins

Malcolm Subban will start tonight for the Bosoton Bruins against the Minnesota Wild.- Claude Julien.

Goaltender Anton Khudobin suffered an arm injury in practice Monday and will miss three weeks.

Tuuka Rask did not take part in practice on Tuesday, goaltender Zane McIntyre was recalled on an emergency basis prior to practice. Rask's injury remains undisclosed.

Forward David Backes is out against the Wild with a "minor issue."

Defenceman Adam McQuaid will return to the Bruins lineup tonight. He is yet to play this season due to an upper-body injury.


Buffalo Sabres

Forward Evander Kane is week-to-week with three cracked ribs suffered in Buffalo's opening game.

Head coach Dan Bylsma called Jack Eichel's recovery from a high-ankle sprain "a slow progression." Eichel is using a scooter to walk and his ankle remains in a walking boot. - Buffalo News


Calgary Flames

Embedded ImageBrian Elliott starts in net against the St. Louis Blues. Elliott spent five seasons with the Blues prior to being traded this summer. 

Chad Johnson got the start on Saturday night when the two sides last met but allowed five goals on 39 shots. Elliott got his first win as a Flame on Monday night against the Blackhawks.

Matthew Tkachuk will play against the Blues.

Ben Bishop will make his fourth start of the season against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Forward Milan Michalek cleared waivers and will report to the AHL's Toronto Marlies. Michalek was waived Monday, when the Leafs claimed Ben Smith. Smith spent Tuesday's practice with the fourth line, between Matt Martin and Peter Holland.

 



Vancouver Canucks

Alex Burrows and Derek Dorsett have both been placed on injured reserve by the Canucks. Dorsett has been dealing with a shoulder injury, while Burrrows is hampered by a neck injury. - Team Roster.

Troy Stecher and Jayson Megna were recalled from the AHL to fill their roster spots. Stecher will play against the Senators tonight, the team confirmed.

The Canucks host the Ottawa Senators tonight, Chris Tanev (lower-body injury) is questionable to play, acoording to the Vancouver Province.
