Kings sign D Muzzin to five-year, $20M extension
The Los Angeles Kings signed defenceman Jake Muzzin to a five-year, $20 million contract extension on Wednesday. The 25-year-old scored five goals and 24 points in 76 games with the Kings last season. He has 12 goals and 29 assists in 132 career games, all with the Kings.

Muzzin was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the fifth round (141st overall) of the 2007 NHL Draft. He signed with the Kings as a free agent in 2010.
