Toronto Maple Leafs forward Leo Komarov has been suspended three games for elbowing New York Rangers defenceman Ryan McDonagh.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Leo Komarov has been suspended three games for elbowing New York Rangers defenceman Ryan McDonagh.
Komarov was ejected and assessed a five-minute match penalty for his actions in Thursday's 4-2 loss to New York.
“Leo plays hard, but he’s not a dirty player,” head coach Mike Babcock said after the game. “Their guy was kind of crouched."McDonagh had just returned from a concussion on Wednesday night. He missed four games after a sucker-punch by Philadelphia Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds.
