Lazio beats Sampdoria, moves to fourth in Serie A
Lazio moved up to fourth place in Serie A by beating Sampdoria 2-1 on Saturday. Lazio pulled within one point of second-place Roma and third-place AC Milan, who meet on Monday.

ROME — Lazio moved up to fourth place in Serie A by beating Sampdoria 2-1 on Saturday.
Lazio pulled within one point of second-place Roma and third-place AC Milan, who meet on Monday.
Sampdoria was ninth after its five-match unbeaten run ended.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Marco Parolo scored in the first half for Lazio, while Patrick Schick pulled one back for the hosts one minute from time.
Also, Crotone beat Pescara 2-1 in a matchup between two clubs attempting to avoid relegation.
The victory moved Crotone one point ahead of Pescara, which was second-to-last.
Raffaele Palladino put Crotone ahead with a penalty, and Gian Marco Ferrari restored the advantage after Hugo Campagnaro's equalizer.
Crotone and Pescara ended with 10 men.
