The 22-year-old Harrington was acquired by the Leafs from the Pittsburgh Penguins as part of the Phil Kessel trade this past summer. He's appeared in 15 games for the team this season, posting an assist.

The Leafs are 7-10-5 this season on 19 points in last place in the Atlantic Division. They sit seven points adrift of the New York Islanders for the final Eastern Conference wild card spot.
