Miller out 4-6 weeks with lower-body injury
Vancouver Canucks general manager Jim Benning confirmed that goaltender Ryan Miller will miss the next four to six weeks with a lower-body injury on Wednesday. Miller suffered the injury Sunday night against the New York Islanders when teammate Jannik Hansen crashed into him.

Vancouver Canucks general manager Jim Benning confirmed that goaltender Ryan Miller will miss the next four to six weeks with a lower-body injury on Wednesday.
Miller suffered the injury Sunday night against the New York Islanders when teammate Jannik Hansen crashed into him.
The 34-year-old went for an MRI Monday in Vancouver.
Miller, who signed a three-year contract with the Canucks in the off-season, has a 28-15-1 record this season with a 2.47 goals against average and a 0.913 save percentage.
Eddie Lack will now be the man between the pipes for the foreseeable future as he picked up a 2-1 victory over the Bruins in Boston Tuesday night. Jacob Markstrom has also been called up from the American Hockey League to help fill the void.
