Oilers recall D Oesterle from AHL's Barons
The Edmonton Oilers recalled defenceman Jordan Oesterle from the AHL's Oklahoma City Barons on Friday. Oesterle, 22, has six goals and 15 assists in 49 games this season with the Barons.

The look-ahead to the future continued for the Edmonton Oilers on Friday.
The club recalled 22-year-old defenceman Jordan Oesterle from the AHL's Oklahoma City Barons and signed forwards Rob Klinkhammer and Ryan Hamilton to one-year contract extensions.
Oesterle, 22, has six goals and 15 assists in 49 games this season with the Barons and could be auditioning for a spot on the 2015-16 blue-line.
Klinkhammer, acquired in the trade that sent winger David Perron to the Pittsburgh Penguins, has two goals in 18 games since.
His extension is worth US$725,000.
The 29-year-old Hamilton has two points in five games with the Oilers this season.
The Oilers also placed forward Anton Lander on the injured reserve list.
