CARSON, Calif. — Brian Rowe made crucial saves in both halves for Los Angeles and the Galaxy held on for a scoreless draw with the MLS-leading Colorado Rapids on Wednesday night.

Zac MacMath had three saves for Colorado (9-2-5), including two in the final 15 minutes for his sixth shutout of the season. The Rapids extended their overall lead in the MLS standings and ran their unbeaten streak to 11.

Rowe came off his line and made a kick save to stop Colorado's Marlon Hairston on a wide-open breakaway in the 31st minute. In the 88th, he punched away Kevin Doyle's close-range attempt and finished with five saves for his third shutout of the season.

The Galaxy (5-3-7) have played over 300 minutes since their last goal May 28.
