Captain Dion Phaneuf rejoined the Leafs on Saturday and skated briefly after the team finished their morning skate. Head coach Peter Horachek said the defenceman is likely to miss another week with his hand injury. – TSN.

Ottawa Senators

Defenceman Chris Phillips is a projected healthy scratch for Staurday’s tilt against the Arizona Coyotes. Mark Borowiecki will dress in his place.

David Legwand will return to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the team’s last two contests. Legwand replaces the injured Alex Chiasson. - Ottawa Citizen.

San Jose Sharks

Detroit Red Wings

Jonas Gustavsson will start tonight for the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL on a conditioning stint. The Swedish netminder has been sidelined since November 5th due to a shoulder injury and is unlikely to return to the NHL this week.

Fellow goaltender Jimmy Howard skated with the Red Wings this week but is not ready to return to practice as of yet. Howard is working his way back from a slight tear in his groin muscle.  – MLive
