The Ottawa Senators are replacing defenceman Chris Wideman with Frederik Claesson in Game 6 and adding Tommy Wingels back into the lineup.

Senators head coach Guy Boucher said forward Viktor Stalberg will be a game-time decision as the Senators look to close out the Bruins in Boston.

Wideman, 27, has averaged 13:08 of ice time through five games in the series. He played 11:21 in the team's double-overtime loss on Friday, posting a minus-2 rating.

Claesson, 24, logged 18:39 of time on ice in Game 1 against the Bruins but has not played since. He scored three goals and tallied 11 points in 33 regular season games.

Wingels also has not played since Game 1, in which he logged three shots and 9:43 of ice time. Traded to the Senators from the San Jose Sharks in January, he scored seven goals and added five assists on the season.

Stalberg, acquired by the Senators from the Carolina Hurricanes in February, dealt with an upper-body injury late in the season. He has played in all five games in the series against the Bruins, notching two assists. He played 16:43 in Game 5.

Boucher did not say who would leave the lineup for Wingels if Stalberg is in.

Krejci Out

The Bruins will be without centre David Krejci for Game 6. Krejci missed Games 1 and 2 with an upper-body injury but played the previous three games, failing to register a point. He played 6:21 in the team's double-overtime win in Game 5.

The Senators lead the best-of-seven series 3-2.
