The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will rest starting quarterback Zach Collaros against the BC Lions on Saturday, TSN Football Insider Dave Naylor reports.

Naylor adds the Blue Bombers will also hold out other starters, having already clinched in the top seed in the CFL's West Division.

With Collaros sitting out, Dru Brown is expected to start at quarterback for Winnipeg. Brown, 25, has completed five of seven passes this season for 127 yards and two touchdowns. He is in his second CFL season.

The Blue Bombers (14-2) clinched the division with a 48-11 win over the Edmonton Elks last week.

Winnipeg has bye week in Week 20 before returning for their final game of the regular season on Oct. 28 against the Lions.

Collaros, 34, has already thrown for a career-high 4,115 yards with 35 touchdowns and 13 interceptions this season.

The Blue Bombers are pursuing their third straight Grey Cup title this season.
