Lexie Lou pulls away to win 155th running of Queen's Plate

Filly Lexie Lou captured the 115th running of the $1-million Queen's Plate on Sunday. The Woodbine Oaks winner, the 3/1 second choice, covered the 1 1/4-mile race in an unofficial time of 2:03.94 on the polytrack at Woodbine Racetrack to earn trainer Mark Casse his first-ever Plate victory. Cinderella Story

JK Endofanera roared down the stretch to take the $1 million North America Cup, Canada's richest harness race, on Saturday. It was the second Cup win for jockey Brian Sears, who took the 2005 edition with Rocknroll Hanover, but the first for trainer Ron Burke and owner 3 Brothers Stables (Alan, Steven and Ronnie Katz) of New York City.
