Wells: Price a true competitor
Former Blue Jays centre fielder Vernon Wells hopped on TSN Drive with Dave Naylor and Steve Simmons to weigh in on the Blue Jays busy week acquiring all stars Troy Tulowitzki and David Price. Wells acknowledges Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulous for making upgrades to all areas of the team despite pressure from the fans and media to solely add pitcing, what it's like from a hitter's perspective to go up against David Price, and the Jays ability to stockpile talent which evidently allowed AA to make significant upgrades.
