Berg's six leads Roughnecks over Rock in OT

CALGARY - Wesley Berg's sixth goal of the game was the overtime winner as the Calgary Roughnecks topped the Toronto Rock 18-17 on Saturday in National Lacrosse League action.
Curtis Dickson and Jeff Shattler scored four goals apiece for Calgary (8-10). Garrett McIntosh, Karsen Leung, Tyler Digby and Peter McFetridge rounded out the attack.
Rob Hellyer responded with seven goals for the Rock (5-13). Turner Evans added four goals while Kasey Beirnes had a hat trick. Dan Lintner, Kyle Aquin and Jesse Gamble also chipped in.
Frankie Scigliano picked up the win in relief of starter Mike Poulin. Scigliano turned aside 30-of-40 shots in 39:25 while Poulin kicked out 13-of-20 shots. Nick Rose made 42 saves in defeat.
The Rouchnecks were 4 for 6 on the power play, with Toronto converting on all six of its opportunities with the man advantage.
