The Montreal Alouettes unveiled their second era of team history helmets on social media Tuesday, the "french horn" logo.

"We'll miss the wings, but it's on to the 2nd era of Alouettes history, the "french horn" logo," the team tweeted.

According to SportsLogos.net, the Alouettes used the "french horn" logo from 1970-1974.

The team had been wearing the winged helmets, a throwback to their look from 1960-69, to start the season.
