BELLEVILLE, Ont. — Rudolfs Balcers and Nick Paul each had a goal and two assists as the Belleville Senators beat the Binghamton Devils 5-2 on Wednesday in American Hockey League play.

Francois Beauchemin, Christian Wolanin and Jack Rodewald also scored for the Senators (2-2-0), who built up a 5-0 lead before Binghamton got on the board in the third period. Drake Batherson chipped in with three assists.

Joey Anderson and Yegor Sharangovich tacked on late consolation goals for the Devils (3-2-0).

Mike Mckenna made 38 saves for Belleville as Cam Johnson turned away 20-of-25 shots for Binghamton.

The Senators went 2 for 5 on the power play while the Devils scored once on eight chances with the man advantage.

Belleville defenceman Patrick Sieloff was handed a game misconduct for instigating a fight at 5:42 of the third period.
