The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have extended veteran defensive back Anthony Gaitor's contract through the 2020 season, the team announced Wednesday.

Gaitor was entering the final year of his contract.

The 30-year-old played in 10 games for the Blue Bombers last season, his first in Winnipeg. Gaitor finished the year with 27 tackles, two sacks, and two interceptions.

Prior to his time in Winnipeg, Gaitor spent two seasons with the BC Lions. In 33 career regular season CFL games, Gaitor has 100 tackles, two sacks, and five interceptions.
