The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed International wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan on Tuesday.

Jernigan joins the Blue Bombers after four seasons with the New York Giants. Jernigan was originally selected in the third round, 83rd overall by New York in 2011, and appeared in 34 games over four seasons. During that time, he caught 38 receptions for 391 yards and two touchdowns.

Jernigan won the Super Bowl with the Giants in 2011, playing in the game as the Giants' primary kick returner, and was a teammate of current Bomber defensive back Bruce Johnson in New York.
