Justin Kripps and Alexander Kopacz posted a time of 3:16.86 on Monday to tie for gold in the men's two-man Bobsleigh event with Germany in Pyeongchang.

Both teams edged out Latvia by .04 seconds to sit atop the podium. 

Canada entered the final run with a .06 second lead over Germany for first place.

The medal marks Canada's sixth gold in Pyeongchang and 17th medal of the Games overall.
