BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Indianapolis Colts linebacker Andrew Jackson has been arrested on a drunken driving charge in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Police stopped Jackson's car early Friday morning after an officer saw his Infiniti SUV drive into a concrete median. A citation from Bowling Green Police says Jackson smelled of alcohol and failed a field sobriety test at around 4:15 a.m.

He was charged with careless driving and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and booked into the local jail. He was released later that day.

A Colts spokesman declined to comment.

Jackson was the Colts' 2014 sixth-round pick from Western Kentucky and was emerging as a special teams contributor and short-yardage inside linebacker as the season was ending. He played in 13 games this season, registering 10 tackles and one sack.
