STOCKTON, Calif. — Logan Stanley and C.J. Suess scored in the first period, while Eric Comrie made 41 saves as the Manitoba Moose held on for a 2-1 victory over the Stockton Heat in American Hockey League action Friday.

Kerby Rychel scored the lone goal for the Heat (11-12-1), who lost their second straight game.

Jon Gillies made 14 saves in the loss.
