NEW YORK — Sporting Kansas City will be without forward Krisztian Nemeth for one more game.

Major League Soccer announced Tuesday that Nemeth has been fined an undisclosed amount and suspended an additional game for a reckless challenge on Vancouver's Felipe Martins in a 1-1 draw on May 18.

Nemeth received a red card and automatic one-game suspension for the incident, which came shortly after he scored his seventh goal of the season.

Nemeth served his original suspension in Kansas City's 3-2 win over Seattle on Sunday. He will serve his additional match suspension Wednesday against the LA Galaxy.

The Hungarian forward has formed a potent one-two punch this season with Scotland international Johnny Russell, who also has seven goals.
