The BC Lions cut defensive back Anthony Gaitor and linebacker Tony Burnett Tuesday.

Gaitor was in his second stint with the Lions after spending training camp with the NFL’s New Orleans Saints earlier this season. The 29-year-old emerged as a starter in the second half last year and had 38 tackles and an interception this year.

Burnett, who signed with the team this off-season, had 26 tackles in 14 games for the Lions this year.
