NHL suspends Stars' Garbutt for two games, Jets' Lowry for one game
Dallas Stars forward Ryan Garbutt was suspended for two games by the NHL on Thursday while Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry received a one-game ban for separate incidents this week. Garbutt was disciplined for kneeing Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall in the Stars' 3-2 victory last Tuesday.

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Dallas Stars forward Ryan Garbutt was suspended for two games by the NHL on Thursday while Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry received a one-game ban for separate incidents this week.
Garbutt was disciplined for kneeing Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall in the Stars' 3-2 victory last Tuesday.
Garbutt was assessed a minor penalty for tripping on the play. He's considered a repeat offender and will forfeit US$43,902.44 in salary.
Lowry, meanwhile, was suspended for boarding Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta in Wednesday's 2-1 victory in Buffalo. Lowry, who will forfeit $4,453.41, was assessed a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct on the play.
