OTTAWA — The Ottawa Senators have signed forward Cole Reinhardt to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The deal will kick in at the start of the 2021-22 season.

Reinhardt, 21, is playing on an amateur tryout contract with the American Hockey League’s Belleville Senators.

He ranks fourth among Belleville rookies and is tied for seventh in scoring with seven points (three goals, four assists) in 21 games.

The Calgary native spent four years with the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings before being selected in the sixth round (181st overall) by Ottawa at the 2020 NHL draft.
