QMJHL: McDonald leads as Islanders hand Mooseheads third straight loss
Mason McDonald kicked out 36-of-37 shots as the Charlottetown Islanders toppled the host Halifax Mooseheads 4-1 on Wednesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.

HALIFAX - Mason McDonald kicked out 36-of-37 shots as the Charlottetown Islanders toppled the host Halifax Mooseheads 4-1 on Wednesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.
Guillaume Rioux-Legault had a goal and an assist for the Islanders (8-7-1) while Luc Deschenes, Spenser Cobbold and Chris Chaddock added the others.
Philippe Gadoury supplied the offence for the Mooseheads (5-10-2), who have dropped three games in a row, and Zachary Fucale stopped 21-of-24 in defeat.
Charlottetown went 1 for 4 on the power play while Halifax scored once on nine chances with the man advantage.
