SHERBROOKE, Que. — Joey Ratelle scored a hat trick as the Drummondville Voltigeurs edged the Sherbrooke Phoenix 6-5 on Saturday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Nathan Hudgin, Pavel Koltygin and Charley Graaskamp rounded out the attack for the Voltigeurs (10-10-2).

Carl Neill had a goal and two assists for Sherbrooke (9-10-3). Jason Imbeault, Hugo Roy, Julien Pelletier and Felix Robert also chipped in.

Olivier Rodrigue made 29 saves for the win as Evan Fitzpatrick turned aside 23-of-29 shots in defeat.

Drummondville was scoreless on three power plays while the Phoenix went 3 for 5.



SHAWINIGAN, Que. — Samuel Asselin had two goals and an assist as the Cataractes scored six times in the third period to beat Baie-Comeau.

Justin Bernier, Samuel Guilbault, Mathieu Olivier and Alexis D'Aoust also scored in the third for Shawnigan (15-6-0). Mikhail Denisov made 22 saves.

Ivan Chekhovich, Vincent Lavoie and Edouard St-Laurent found the back of the net for the Drakkar (6-12-3). Antoine Samuel turned away 23-of-27 shots.



SYDNEY, N.S. — Giovanni Fiore hat a hat trick and Kevin Mandolese stopped 30 shots as the Screaming Eagles beat Charlottetown.

Phelix Martineau had a goal and two assists, with Tobie Paquette-Bisson adding the other for Cape Breton (11-11-2).

Kameron Kielly, Keith Getson and Jake Coughler supplied the offence for the Islanders (13-10-1). Matthew Welsh kicked out 31-of-35 shots in net.



ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Philippe Myers, Bruno-Carl Denis and William Cyr all scored twice as the Huskies routed Rimouski.

Myers added an assist and Gabriel Fontaine had a goal and two helpers for Rouyn-Noranda (15-5-3). Antoine Waked added the other, Jean-Christophe Beaudin tacked on four assists and Samuel Harvey turned aside 26 shots.

Tyler Boland, Denis Mikhnin and Alex-Olivier Voyer found the back of the net for the Oceanic (11-12-1). Charles-Olivier Levesque stopped 20-of-26 shots in 46:21. Alexandre Lagace went the rest of the way and made three saves.



VAL-D'OR, Que. — Alexander Katerinakis had two goals and two assists as Blainville-Boisbriand topped the Foreurs.

TJ Melancon also struck twice for the Armada (16-6-2) with Connor Bramwell adding the other. Francis Leclerc made 29 saves.

Yohan Plamondon, Simon Lafrance, Francois Beauchemin and Nicolas Ouellet supplied the offence for Val-d'Or (11-11-2). Dereck Baribeau stopped 24 shots in net.



VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Ivan Kosorenkov and Maxime Comtois each struck twice as the Tigres snapped Chicoutimi's six-game winning streak.

Alexandre Goulet also scored for Victoriaville (12-10-2) and Tristan Cote-Cazenave kicked out 30 shots.

Zachary Lavigne and Ryan Verbeek had goals for the Sagueneens (11-9-0). Xavier Potvin started but was lifted after turning away 15-of-19 shots in 30:06. Samuel Cardinal finished the game and made 17 saves.
