QUEBEC — Bailey Peach buried the game winning goal on a third-period power play and the Charlottetown Islanders topped the Victoriaville Tigres 4-3 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoff action Friday.

The Islanders' power play was potent with Lukas Cormier and Brett Budgell also scoring on the man advantage.

Charlottetown's Brendan McCarthy added an even-strength tally 8:44 into the third period, and Peach put away the game-winner just over five minutes later.

Maxim Pellerin, Sean Larochelle and Benjamin Tardif had goals for the Tigres.

Colten Ellis stopped 14 shots for Charlottetown and Victoriaville's Fabio Iacabo had 17 saves.

Charlottetown holds a 2-1 lead in the semifinal series with Game 4 set for Sunday.
