Lalonde: An industry wide problem!
On the heels of the Mike Babcock incident, let’s discuss an industry-wide problem which is the repeated cases of coaches in sports that mishandle their duties and responsibilities. Babcock is one of many examples of coaches that are sanctioned for their inability to handle athletes with modern care and leadership. So why do coaches behave like this? How about the organizations that hire individuals with a background of questionable actions? And what needs to be done to eliminate such conduct?
