The Montreal Canadiens made a splash on the second day of the 2025 NHL Draft trading up to the 34th overall pick to select Alexander Zharovsky. The Canucks were the next Canadian team on the board taking Alexei Medvedev with the 47th pick. The Maple Leafs took Tinus-Luc Koblar with their first pick in the draft, while the Oilers drafted Aidan Park with the second-to-last pick of the draft.
