Elie's two goals lead Crunch past Marlies
Remi Elie scored twice as the Syracuse Crunch doubled the Toronto Marlies 4-2 on Wednesday in American Hockey League play. Shawn Element and Cole Koepke also scored for Syracuse (8-10-3), while Max Lagace made 26 saves for the win.

Shawn Element and Cole Koepke also scored for Syracuse (8-10-3), while Max Lagace made 26 saves for the win.
Bobby McMann and Pavel Gogolev both had power-play goals for the Marlies (10-9-2), the minor league affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Erik Källgren stopped 28 shots for Toronto.
The Crunch were 1 for 2 on the power play and the Marlies went 2 for 5 with the man advantage.
