Rempal scores a pair as Canucks dump Barracuda

ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Sheldon Rempal scored two goals to lead the Abbotsford Canucks to a 7-1 rout of the San Jose Barracuda in American Hockey League play on Friday night.
Jett Woo and Will Lockwood also had first-period goals for the hometown Canucks. San Jose's Scott Reedy cut into the lead at 18:13.
Vincent Arsenault restored Abbotsford's three-goal cushion before the Canucks piled on in the third period. Sheldon Dries, Rempal and Adam Brubacher tacked on insurance goals.
San Jose outshot Abbotsford 29-26.
