TORONTO — Lyle Thompson had four goals and added an assist as the Georgia Swarm spoiled the Toronto Rock's home opener with a 12-11 victory in National Lacrosse League action Friday.

Holden Cattoni, with a pair, Connor Sellars, Jordan MacIntosh, Adam Wiedemann, Zed Williams, Bryan Cole, Randy Staats rounded out the scoring for the Swarm (2-0).

Rob Hellyer paced the Rock (1-1) with five goals, while Kieran McArdle and Tom Schreiber had two goals apiece, and Creighton Reid and Johnny Powless added singles.

Nick Rose made 43 saves in the loss for Toronto. Georgia's Mike Poulin stopped 45 shots in the victory.

The Swarm were 1 for 2 on the power play. The Rock were 2 for 4 with the man advantage.
