TORONTO — Tom Schreiber had four goals and four assists and Adam Jones had three goals and five helpers as the Toronto Rock downed the Rochester Knighthawks 17-9 on Friday in National Lacrosse League play.

Ron Hellyer and Challen Rogers matched each other with a goal and four assists while Sheldon Burns struck twice for the Rock (3-2). Brett Hickey, Kieran McArdle, Phil Caputo, Dan Craig, Damon Edwards and Reid Reindholt rounded out the offence.

Kyle Jackson, Austin Shanks and Cody Jamieson had a pair of goals apiece for the Knighthawks (2-2), who got singles from Cory Vitarelli, Dan Dawson and Josh Currier.

Nick Rose made 47 saves for the win. Matt Vinc and Angus Goodleaf combined to make 50 saves in defeat.

Toronto went 2 for 5 on the power play while Rochester was 3 for 4.
