Right now, all TCU does is win Football Games.

The 4th ranked Horned Frogs pulled out another win last week as 7-point underdogs to maintain their undefeated record.

TCU is -2.5 this week as they travel to Waco, Texas, to take on Baylor. The Horned Frogs will likely need to win out to get a playoff spot, so they cannot afford any letdown games.

As well, there are two games between ranked opponents in the Pac-12 this weekend that will help sort out the conference title picture.

In a battle of California, No.7 USC heads to the Rose Bowl as 2.5-point favourites over UCLA, while No. 10 Utah takes on No. 12 Oregon, and the Utes are -2 in that game.

These games will help sort out the Pac-12 Championship picture and could potentially have playoff implications if USC can win out.

These are the best games to watch this weekend, but that might not mean they are the best from a gambling standpoint.

Here are my best bets for this week’s games.

Florida Gators @ Vanderbilt Commodores

Spread: Florida -14

Total:  57.5

Vanderbilt is having their best season in years and even surpassed their win total (2.5) in September.

They are coming off a big upset over Kentucky last week as 18-point underdogs and will take on rival Tennessee next weekend.

This has all the makings off a letdown spot for the Commodores.

Even with the improvement, they are still 1-5 in the SEC, and Florida’s offence has come to life in the last two weeks, putting up nearly 40 ppg.
Gators QB Anthony Richardson was seen as a Heisman candidate coming into the season but has not played up to the hype.

That does not mean he can’t get it done against a Vanderbilt defence that gives up 35.2 ppg.

I just think this is a sandwich of Vanderbilt coming off an upset win and having their in-state rivals on the schedule next Saturday. Like the Gators big here.

The Pick:  Florida -14

No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs at Kentucky Wildcats

Spread: Georgia -22.5

Total: 49

As mentioned above, Kentucky is coming off a home loss to Vanderbilt as 18-point favourites.

They get to follow that up by taking on this monster Georgia team.

Kentucky has the worst offence in the SEC and especially struggles to protect the passer.

Wildcats QB Will Levis has a lot of NFL first-round hype, but his evaluation has been extremely difficult because the offensive line gives him no time to pass the ball.

That does not bode well for playing against this Georgia defence, which is the best in the conference.

Kentucky does, however, play solid defence and defends the pass very well, giving up just 182 yards a game through the air, and only one of their games has gone over 50 points since October.

I can see Georgia getting up early here, and don’t think Kentucky will be able to score much in this game.

So, we have two of the best defences in the conference going head-to-head and only one very productive offence.

On top of that, Kentucky unders are 9-1 this season.

This is my best bet of the weekend. Taking the under here.

The Pick:  Under 49

Stanford Cardinal at California Golden Bears

Spread: California -5

Total: 46.5

There are the two marquee games in the Pac 12 as mentioned above, and then there is this one….

While this is a “rivalry” game, these two teams are a combined 6-14 and only rank above an awful Colorado team in their conference.

However, Cal can move the ball while Stanford cannot.

Stanford has not scored over 20 points in a game since October 8, while the Golden Bears have done it three of the last four weeks.

While neither team has won a game over that stretch, Stanford has lost by an average of 32.6 in its last three games.

The Golden Bears took USC to the brink two weeks ago and are at least competing and can put some points.

Since 2010, Stanford has won 10 of the last 12 meetings between these two teams. California will try and take advantage of a checked-out Stanford team in a down year and get a win in the “Big Game”

While this game likely won’t be the most aesthetically pleasing, I like the Golden Bears to get it done at home here.

The Pick:  California -5
