LANGLEY, B.C. — Zack Ostapchuk scored 30 seconds into overtime and the Vancouver Giants snapped a four-game losing skid with a 4-3 win over the Kelowna Rockets Sunday in the Western Hockey League.

Tanner Brown and Ty Thorpe had one goal and one assist each, and Kaden Kohle rounded out the offence for the Giants (15-16-1). Justin Sourdif had two helpers.

Goalie Jesper Vikman stopped 20-of-23 shots to lead Vancouver to a second victory in the past 11 games.

Gabriel Szturc, with two, and Colton Dach scored for the Rockets (16-9-4), which saw their five-game losing skid snapped. Andrew Cristall had two assists.

Talyn Boyko made 30 saves in defeat.

Vancouver outshot Kelowna 34-23.
