It’s time to start asking whomever owes you money for your loot back — with compounded interest because you could cop one of the rarest shoes ever.

Sotheby’s is auctioning a pair of the legendary “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 sneakers. The pair is a player sample designed specifically for Michael Jordan to wear in the film. Although this pair was never worn, they have been signed by Jordan and are offered in a custom ‘Tune Squad’ box.

These coveted sneakers are expected to go between US$150,000 and $200,000, making it one of the most expensive sneakers ever sold at auction.

Designed by the one and only Tinker Hadfield, the Air Jordan 11 was created in 1995. The “Space Jam” colourway was created specifically for the film and was worn by Jordan in the final game against the Monstars.

You can cast your bid on Sotheby’s website or just keep track like most of us. The lot closes on July 26.
