BELLEVILLE, Ont. — Drake Batherson scored and added five assists as the Belleville Senators edged the Toronto Marlies 7-6 on Friday in American Hockey League action.

Batherson assisted on Francois Beauchemin's winner with less than two minutes remaining in the third period.

Christian Wolanin had a goal and set up four others for Belleville (6-7-0), the AHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators. Erik Burgdoerfer, Rudolfs Balcers, Filip Chlapik and Adam Tambellini rounded out the attack for the Senators as Mike Condon made 17 saves for the win.

Mason Marchment had back-to-back goals for the Marlies (4-5-2), the minor league club of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Timothy Liljegren, Dmytro Timashov, Andreas Borgman and Frank Corrado also scored.

Jeff Glass stopped 17 shots for Toronto.

Belleville went 2 for 5 on the power play and the Marlies were 2 for 7 with the man advantage.
