Artem Anisimov has agreed to a five-year extension with the Chicago Blackhawks worth $22.75 million.

The Blackhawks acquired Anisimov has part of the deal that sent Brandon Saad to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The 27-year-old had one year remaining on his deal at the time of the trade that carried a cap hit of $3.283 million.

The Yaroslavl, Russia native had seven goals and 20 assists in 52 games this season with the Blue Jackets.
