EDMONTON - Kendial Lawrence is staying put, and he'll have a new offensive lineman blocking for him next year.

Along with Lawrence, Eskimos signed free agent offensive lineman Greg Wojt on Wednesday.

The free-agent running back re-signed with the Edmonton Eskimos on Wednesday, a day after becoming a free agent.

The five-foot-nine, 195-pound American rushed for 413 yards and a TD last year while adding 41 catches for 437 yards and two touchdowns.

Lawrence also returned 17 kicloffs for 493 yards and two touchdowns and had 49 punt returns for 447 yards.

Lawrence's 88-yard punt return for a TD led Edmonton to an 18-10 victory over Saskatchewan in the West Division final.

A six-year veteran, Wojt spent the last two seasons in Hamilton after being traded from Edmonton in 2013. The six-foot-four, 300-pound native of Warsaw, Poland, has played in 65 career games (55 starts) and seven playoff games, including starting in the 101st Grey Cup game.

In 2013, he was named the Tiger-Cats Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman. In 2011, he earned a West Division All-Star nod and was named the Eskimos Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman.

Wojt was originally selected by Edmonton in second round (11th overall) of the 2008 CFL Canadian Draft.

The team also signed former Ottawa Redblacks wide receiver Wallace Miles, announced Thursday.
