According to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger, the agent for Finnish free agent defenceman Oliwer Kaski confirms he intends on signing with the Detroit Red Wings after the world championship. 

Kaski, 23, has spent the past three seasons playing in Finland's Liiga. This season, Kaski recorded 51 points (19 goals, 32 assists) in 59 games, the highest for any defenceman in the league. 

He is currently playing with Team Finland at the IIHF world championship, with one assist in three games.
