Antoine Griezmann's Atletico Madrid career is coming to a close.

The France international forward announced his intentions to leave the club at season's end in a video tweeted out by the club.

"It's been an incredible five years," Griezmann said in the video. "Thank you very much for everything. I keep you in my heart."

A native of Macon, France, the 28-year-old World Cup winner joined Atleti in 2014 from Real Sociedad.

In five seasons with the club, Griezmann has won three trophies, including the 2018 Europa League title.

Griezmann has made 252 combined appearances across all competitions with the team, scoring 133 times.

Internationally, Griezmann has been capped 69 times by Les Bleus.

Griezmann had previously been attached with moves to Barcelona and Manchester United.
