A frustrated Toronto Blue Jays infielder Devon Travis revealed on Sunday that an MRI on his injured knee revealed no structural damage, but the 28-year-old remains frustrated that yet another injury has befallen him.

"Knees aren’t fun for me," Travis told reporters on Sunday morning. "I’ve had surgery on both knees, so any time it’s a knee it’s a most concerning thing for me. And, like I said, this story, like, replays too much. This is a tough one because I finally felt pretty good coming in and one week into spring training and here we are. So just gotta roll, I gotta figure it out. I gotta find a way and what we’ll do."

Over his four-year MLB career, Travis has been injured for more games than he's played, missing 332 games over that period. He hasn't appeared in a spring training game since last Monday.

In 103 games last season, Travis hit .232 with 11 home runs, 44 runs batted in and an OPS of .656.

"The MRI didn’t show anything structurally wrong, so it’s definitely a big relief," Travis is said, "but I just gotta find a way to make it better, then."

The Blue Jays have not put a timetable on Travis's return.
