Speaking to reporters at the NFL Combine Thursday, New York Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan said the team would “absolutely” look at an opportunity to move down in the NFL Draft.

"Right now, we feel good at No. 3, but I'd definitely say if there's an opportunity to trade down, we would absolutely look at it," Maccagnan said.

Maccagnan’s remarks come a year after the Jets traded up – from No. 6 to No. 3 – in the draft to select quarterback Sam Darnold.

With as many as all teams currently scheduled to draft in the top five – the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Jets, Oakland Raiders, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers – not in need of a quarterback, a QB-needy team could trade up to take one of the top prospects at the position, Dwayne Haskins or Kyler Murray.
