Ottawa Senators

The Senators placed three players on waivers Sunday, one day ahead of Monday's Trade Deadline. Veteran forwards Alex Burrows and Jim O'Brien, and defenceman Johnny Oduya were placed on waivers by the team.

Oduya was held out of the team's game Saturday with potential trade interest in the 36-year-old. He has four goals and four assists in 51 games for the Sens this season. Burrows has three goals and five assists in 51 games for Ottawa. O'Brien has spent the season in the AHL.

Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild have placed veteran forward Chris Stewart on waivers.

Michael Russo of The Athletic reported Stewart may be a cap casualty with the Wild needing to unload a salaried player to recall Luke Kunin, sign prospect Jordan Greenway, and save space for potential injuries after Monday's Trade Deadline.

In 47 games for the Wild this season, Stewart has nine goals and four assists. Stewart is making $1.15 million this season and is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year.

Florida Panthers

Forward Denis Malgin is day-to-day with an apparent lower-body injury, Panthers head coach Bob Boughner told the Sun-Sentinel.

"Right now, I don't have much more information," Boughner said after the game.

Malgin was injured in a third period collision in the team's 6-5 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday.
