Washington Capitals

He's back.

With forward T.J. Oshie out indefinitely with an upper-body injury, the Washington Capitals recalled forward Devante Smith-Pelly from the AHL's Hershey Bears on Friday.

In 54 games with Washington so far this season, Smith-Pelly has four goals and four assists. This is his second season in D.C. after helping the Caps win the Stanley Cup last season.

Meanwhile, goaltender Vitek Vanecek has been sent back to Hershey as a corresponding move.

The Capitals sit tied 2-2 with the Carolina Hurricanes and will host the 'Canes in Game 5 Saturday night.

Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy said he anticipates Sean Kuraly will be good to go for Game 5 against the Toronto Maple Leafs Friday. If Kuraly plays, Joakim Nordstrom would be the healthy scratch.
