Head coach Mike Babcock elected not to name his starter for the playoffs after Jimmy Howard allowed four goals on 26 shots in an overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens Thursday night. Babcock was critical of the goals Howard allowed, telling members of the media after the game "they can't go in, period." Babcock declined to name a starter for the team's regular season finale against the Carolina Hurricanes.
