Forward Paul Stastny was scratched with a lower-body injury ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Nashville Predators.

The 32-year-old appeared to tweak something in the warmup and was replaced by Shawn Matthias. Matthias was activated off the injured reserve list Tuesday after being out since Jan. 12 with an upper-body injury.

In 70 games so far this season split between the St. Louis Blues and Jets, Stastny has 14 goals and 34 assists.

He was acquired in a deadline day deal that sent left winger Erik Foley and draft picks back to the Blues.

Meanwhile, goaltender Michael Hutchinson left Tuesday's game in the first period with an upper-body injury. Connor Hellebuyck came in off the bench.

Following their game against the Preds, the Jets will be back in action Thursday as they host the Chicago Blackhawks.
