Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane was back at practice Monday wearing a no contact jersey and will join the club on their upcoming four-game road trip.

Kane was hurt in the opening game of the season against the Arizona Coyotes when he collided with linemate Mark Scheifele and hasn't seen any action since.

The Jets have a 3-5 record over the first eight games of the season and sit in last place in the Central Division.

The 23-year-old Kane was limited to 63 games last season with injuries as well.
