Injured Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul skated for nearly 20 minutes in full equipment Saturday alongside strength and conditioning coach Anthony Belza.

This was the first time the 31-year-old has been seen on the ice since he broke his right hand at practice on Oct. 30. Head coach Randy Carlyle previously said Lupul is expected to miss three weeks.

Lupul, who has missed two games since the injury, was originally expected to wear a cast for a minimum of 10 days before being able to put a glove on. While he was able to sport the glove, the Alberta native did not shoot any pucks.

Lupul has two goals and an assist with six penalty minutes in nine games this season.
